Community of Allendale, we are asking that you give back on April 13th by donating blood to the OneBlood organization. Your blood will be used in hospitals and help save lives! Our College & Career Fair was a huge success, giving students the opportunity to explore their futures beyond graduation! With over 40 colleges and career representatives our students learned about multiple pathways including enlistment, employment, entrepreneurship, and higher education. Students engaged with vendors by asking thoughtful questions at each booth for a chance to be entered into a drawing. We’re proud of our students for taking initiative and exploring the many possibilities ahead!

We are proud to celebrate our very own senior, Joronwanna Elmore, who has been selected to be honored at the 2026 South Carolina STEM Signing Day on April 29th in Columbia! Chosen from hundreds of students across the state, she is being recognized for her commitment to pursuing a future in STEM. Sponsored by Boeing, this prestigious event includes a formal luncheon and the opportunity to connect with members of the Senate and House of Representatives. We are incredibly proud of her achievements and can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes as she steps into her future in STEM!

On Monday, we will be hosting Drop Everything and Prep (D.E.A.P.) at Allendale-Fairfax High School from 8:30 AM – 11:45 AM. This event is open to all seniors and their parents and will include test prep and resume building. We will also assist with college and scholarship applications. We proudly celebrated our newest National Honor Society members during last week’s induction ceremony! These students have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character, truly representing the best of our district. We spent the morning recognizing their hard work and commitment to success. Congratulations to our newest inductees, we are so proud of you!

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to take charge of your health. PEBA will be offering complimentary biometric health screenings in our district on March 23. These screenings include blood pressure checks, blood work, and other important health measurements. Contact Nurse Freeman if you are interested in participating.

Tomorrow is the big day! Join us at Allendale-Fairfax Elementary School for a day full of family, fun, and food! There will be local vendors, food trucks, student performances, line dancing, and free resources! Parents we encourage you to bring your children so they can experience all of the acitivites plus earn extra credit and dress down! We will be starting at 10 AM and we hope to see you there!

As part of our District Wellness Day, you have the chance to get your health in check! We are excited to partner with PEBA to offer free preventative health screenings for our employees, their spouses, and dependents. This screening includes blood pressure checks, blood work, and a health risk appraisal to help you stay informed about your health.
