Tomorrow is the big day! Join us at Allendale-Fairfax Elementary School for a day full of family, fun, and food! There will be local vendors, food trucks, student performances, line dancing, and free resources! Parents we encourage you to bring your children so they can experience all of the acitivites plus earn extra credit and dress down! We will be starting at 10 AM and we hope to see you there!

As part of our District Wellness Day, you have the chance to get your health in check! We are excited to partner with PEBA to offer free preventative health screenings for our employees, their spouses, and dependents. This screening includes blood pressure checks, blood work, and a health risk appraisal to help you stay informed about your health. If you haven't already, please contact Nurse Brodus-Freeman to receive these services!
Our District Wellness Day is on Monday, March 23rd, immediately following our students’ early dismissal. This dedicated time is all about giving our staff and teachers the opportunity to rest, recharge, and reflect. Get ready to relax and recharge for our second annual District Wellness Day on Monday March 23rd. Sessions will begin immediately after students dismiss and will last until 4:45 PM. We are offering facials, massages, and manicures services as well as recreational activities like painting, basketball, kung fu, and line dancing. We want to pour into the people who keep our district running and we hope you will partake in this day.

On March 23rd you can receive almost $500 worth of services at no cost to you! PEBA will be visiting our district to provide free preventative biometric screenings for eligible employees and dependents. This screening includes blood pressure checks, health risk appraisal, height and weight measurements, and blood work. Be sure to sign up with Nurse Freeman take advantage of this valuable benefit!
Families it's almost time for our Family Fun Fest this Saturday from 10 AM-2 PM. This event will be held on the field at our elementary school and will feature student performances, food trucks, local vendors, and line dancing! Each school will sponsor a tent and be offering extra credit or dress down as an added incentive. Come out to engage and enjoy everything our community has to offer!

On March 23rd our employees, their spouses, and dependent can receive important health assessments that help monitor overall wellness. This is a great opportunity to stay proactive about your health. Allendale County Schools is having a district-wide community celebration and you’re invited! On March 21st from 10 AM–2 PM, enjoy bounce houses, fun games, food trucks, and student performances. Students can earn extra credit and dress down privileges just for attending. We hope to see everyone there to enjoy all of the exciting thing have planned for our families.
Congratulations to Layla Robinson, Fernanda Millan, and K'Jenae Cunningham for advancing to the next level of the 2026 National Civics Bee after being named among the Top 20 students in the competition! The National Civics Bee encourages students in grades 6–8 to grow in their knowledge of civics and community engagement. Our scholars will compete in the next round on May 16 at Barnwell Primary School.

You can also order more labs for an additional fee. They will examine your weight, height, blood pressure, lipid panels, blood work, and health risks.
