Today Allendale County School District will be having a community/board meeting at 6 PM. Before the meeting, State Superintendent Ellen Weaver will have a meet and greet session from 4-6 PM. This is also a chance to meet our new district superintendent Dr. Cave, so parents and community please come out and support us!
Kyle Greene will be at our schools tomorrow to teach students how to develop social-emotional skills such as self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills.
Please be reminded that tomorrow we will be having our community/board meeting at 6PM in the AFHS multipurpose room. We will be joined by State Superintendent Ellen Weaver, so don't miss out!

Parents and teachers, please be advised that tomorrow September 22nd, 2023 is a Dress Down Day. The cost is $2 for students and $5 for teachers.
Attention: all 7th and 8th grade Creative Writers, Dancers, Actors, Musicians, Visual Artists & students interested in Filmmaking! A representative from the Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities in Greenville will be on campus Friday, September 29th to talk about their arts programs for students and careers in the arts. If you are interested in learning about arts careers and programs that provide pre-professional training in your art area, be sure to sign up with Dr. Dandy to attend the presentation!
Remember that Kyle Greene will be here next week on September 26th at 11:30 AM to teach students about social-emotional skills.

IMPORTANT INTERCESSION UPDATE: Dear Parents, our 2023-2024 District calendar includes intercession days strategically placed throughout the school year to lessen instructional gaps. These periods support and improve student academics by offering instruction tailored to students' individual needs. Intercessions will be well-planned, targeted learning opportunities for students. We will enter Intercession on October 5-6, 2023. Please expect an invitation to be sent home this week if your child(ren) must attend.
