Our Winter Concert at Allendale-Fairfax Elementary School was an original production featuring a breaking news theme and performances representing diverse cultures. The program included selections from our kindergarten, third grade, and fourth- and fifth-grade chorus groups, as well as our faculty choir. Our related arts teachers thoughtfully incorporated multiple elements of the arts, highlighting music, dance, visual art, and media. A special holiday edition of our Mindful Moment segment reminded us how to stay positive during the holiday break. The show was worth seeing and a wonderful celebration of creativity, culture, and community.

We would sincerely like to thank the Class of 1983 for donating to several of our students at AFES. They gave away food and gift cards to ensure that no families went without food on the table or gifts under the tree this holiday season. We are grateful for their generosity and thoughtfulness.
