As part of our District Wellness Day, you have the chance to get your health in check! We are excited to partner with PEBA to offer free preventative health screenings for our employees, their spouses, and dependents. This screening includes blood pressure checks, blood work, and a health risk appraisal to help you stay informed about your health. If you haven't already, please contact Nurse Brodus-Freeman to receive these services!
Bullying has no place at Allendale-Fairfax Elementary. Join us in Super Me next week where students can elect to be a hero for anti-bullying! Each day brings a new dress-down theme and a new reminder to treat others with care. We hope you will stand up for peace and kindness and help us spread awareness!

Our District Wellness Day is on Monday, March 23rd, immediately following our students’ early dismissal. This dedicated time is all about giving our staff and teachers the opportunity to rest, recharge, and reflect. We’re excited to offer a variety of pampering services, fun activities, and health resources for everyone to enjoy. When we take care of our team, we strengthen our entire school community.

We’re preparing for another wonderful year, and it all starts with registration! Families of 3K, 4K, and Kindergarten students can register now using the packets in the front office. Students currently enrolled in Pre-K must register again for the 2026-2027 school year. Please remember to bring identification, medical records, and any legal paperwork needed.

On March 23rd you can receive almost $500 worth of services at no cost to you! PEBA will be visiting our district to provide free preventative biometric screenings for eligible employees and dependents. Families it's almost time for our Family Fun Fest this Saturday from 10 AM-2 PM. This event will be held on the field at our elementary school and will feature student performances, food trucks, local vendors, and line dancing! Each school will sponsor a tent and be offering extra credit or dress down as an added incentive. Come out to engage and enjoy everything our community has to offer!

Registration will continue throughout the summer and must be completed using the packet available in the front office. Current Pre-K students are also required to re-register for next year. Allendale County Schools is having a district-wide community celebration and you’re invited! On March 21st from 10 AM–2 PM, enjoy bounce houses, fun games, food trucks, and student performances. Students can earn extra credit and dress down privileges just for attending. We hope to see everyone there to enjoy all of the exciting thing have planned for our families.

We wrapped up Read Across America Week at our elementary school with Book Character Day! Students had the opportunity to dress up as their favorite book characters and bring a copy of their beloved book to share. To end our community read aloud series, Superintendent Dr. Cave read aloud to a class from each grade level. The read aloud was streamed to all the classrooms so everyone could hear the story of Be You, a reminder to children that being yourself is the best and only way to be!
